Worship In Music
White Oak Baptist has a rich tradition of worshipping through music, both instrumental and vocal.
The Sanctuary Choir provides special music on Sundays, with other groups such as quartets, trios duets and solos contributing as well.
Our accompanists are Rebecca Brannan, pianist; and Pat Malone, organist. Our Minister of Music is Frank Seymour.
Psalm 47:6 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our King, sing praise.
Our Sanctuary Choir normally practices on Sundays at 4:30. Sometimes there are extra rehearsals. This choir sings praises to King Jesus most Sundays, as well as performs Easter and Christmas Cantatas. This versatile group has several instrumentalists who make beautiful music to the Lord. If you can sing Soprano, Alto, Tenor or Bass, and if you have a heart for praising God through song, come join our choir!
“Ring the Bells of Heaven”
Our Handbell choir has a mixture of veteran ringers, as well as some relatively new members. All of our handbell ringers can read music. Handbells practice on Tuesdays at 6:30 P.M. They play for worship services during Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
O. A. S. I. S.Older Adults Still In Service
Rebecca Brannan, Director
The OASIS choir practices twice each month. The choir sings in church once a month and, also, in special programs. In our choir, active senior adults spend time ministering to other senior adults who can no longer get out by themselves through a nursing home and homebound ministry. We enjoy using our talents to sing in assisted living and nursing home facilities, believing that God desires to use us fully and completely throughout out lives.
