David was born and raised in Chattanooga. He became a believer at the age of 19 and at age 23 sensed God’s call on his life to vocational Christian ministry. David married his best friend and love of his life, Cristi, in June, 2010.
David was called to White Oak as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship in 2017. His desire is to provide a variety of opportunities within the Body for believers to grow in their relationship with Jesus and become fully devoted and developing followers of Jesus.
David has a Bachelor of Arts from TN Temple University, a Master of Divinity from Temple Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. It is his desire to be a life-long learner.
Discipleship has been a factor in David’s ministry life from the beginning. God has allowed him to serve churches in London, England; Chattanooga, TN; and Ringgold, GA. He has served as a Teaching Pastor, Associate Pastor, and College and Young Adult Pastor. God has also provided opportunities for him to participate in missions projects in Eleuthera, Bahamas; London, England; and Minsk, Belarus.
